5k Beer Run

Friday, October 10, 2014

Join us for a German-themed road race through the heart downtown Jacksonville, followed by a Brew-Ha-Ha of a celebration!

On your mark, get set, CHUG!  From the start of the race, participants will enjoy 5 oz of beers at the multiple ‘Chug Stations’ throughout the course.   For all of our designated drivers (gotta love ’em) and our non-chuggers, the chugging is 100% optional and water will be available to all.

The Jaxtoberfest Beer Run is a social race and all levels of runners and walkers are encouraged to participate, including those in the beer belly division. Registration includes a Jaxtoberfest race shirt, souvenir race bib, commemorative beer stein at the end of the race and of course BEER! Don’t forget your commemorative beer stein will allow you to take part in drink specials throughout the two-day Jaxtoberfest festival – so come back and get your German on!

You MUST be 21 years of age by race day to participate.  ALL participants MUST have a valid ID available upon check in the morning of the race or they will not be able to participate.

Unleash your inner-Bavarian and get in the spirit! Run the race in your lederhosen or dirndls and you could win a Brew-Ha-Ha award!

Jaxtoberfest 5K Beer Run will provide additional Jaxtoberfest “oomp-pah-pah” and proceeds to benefit local charities.
